We use less paper

GRI:

We are on a constant lookout for new eco-friendly opportunities and solutions that we can offer to our customers. We have already opted out of using plastic bags in our stores and we encourage customers to choose an electronic form of contracts or e-invoices.

In 2020, we implemented a solution aimed at encouraging our customers to use the e-invoice option.

Thanks to advanced CRM technologies, we have started a new project to reduce paper used in parcels sent to B2B and B2C customers. Because of our ability to accept online documents and simplify the shipment receipt process as much as we can, we have significantly reduced the number of paper sheets in parcels. No return documents, envelopes, or instructions for the courier are placed in them.

How we reduce paper use:

  • we have reduced the amount of paper in our shipments to customers,
  • we have reduced the number of flyers produced,
  • we encourage our customers to choose e-invoices

We reuse items to reduce waste:

  • we reuse part of the cardboard boxes that reach our stores (we do not discard part of the cardboard boxes in our stores so we can reuse them, for example, for shipping items);
  • we reuse pallets in our warehouse. Only broken pallets are disposed of, while pallets in good working order are reused.
  • We renew used telephones and we sell them to customers to reduce the amount of electronic waste;
  • we sell used furniture — we do not dispose of furniture but we sell it so it can be reused
  • we sell used electronic hardware so it can be reused.
